What is the future of Amazon Pharmacy?

JakeRx- They have not been a big part of the market so far, but I don’t think you can count them out. What do you think the future is for Amazon in pharmacy?

RPF- I agree that it is too early to count them out. At the same time, healthcare is a different beast compared to areas Amazon has traditionally competed in. I am glad to see them going the greater transparency route (saw something about showing cash price next to insurance OOP for all scripts) and will continue to watch to see where things go.

RPF- Interestingly they seem to be internally discussing potential physical retail pharmacy locations at whole foods locations and potentially standalone as well. Not final, but in discussions.
